It All Started in the Deer Processing Business
Coach Big’s Hot Honey & Seasonings started with a simple idea: make something that we would actually want to eat ourselves.
Our seasoning business grew out of our family’s deer processing operation. After years of processing deer and working with hunters and families from our local community, we started experimenting with our own seasonings to use on the meat we were processing and cooking.
What started as something for ourselves quickly turned into something our customers wanted to take home.
And Coach Big’s was born.

We believe good seasoning starts with good ingredients.
Our seasonings are made from scratch in small batches, and we grow many of the peppers we use right here in our own garden. From jalapeños and habaneros to ghost peppers and some seriously hot varieties, we use real peppers to create the flavor and heat in our products.
We aren't trying to make another ordinary bottle of seasoning. We want Coach Big’s to give you great flavor first — and the heat you’re looking for when you want it.

Today, Coach Big’s offers a growing line of handcrafted seasonings, hot honey and specialty flavors. Our lineup includes everything from our Original and Honey BBQ to Honey Habanero, Ghost, Peachy Jalapeño and our seriously hot Hell No seasoning. We also offer specialty salts and a variety of hot honey flavors.
We are constantly experimenting with new recipes and new combinations. Some ideas become permanent products, while others stay in the kitchen. That's part of the fun.
Where We're Going Coach Big’s is still a growing family business, and we're just getting started. We're taking our products beyond our local area and into farmers markets, festivals, BBQ events, local businesses, fundraisers and other community events.
We're also working toward bringing Coach Big’s to more stores and customers throughout Ohio and eventually beyond.
One of the things we're especially excited about is working with schools and community organizations on fundraising events. We want Coach Big’s to be more than a product on a shelf — we want to be a business that gives back to the communities that support us.
Our goal is simple: Make great products. Have some fun. Support our communities. And keep growing Coach Big’s one bottle at a time.
